ROLE-PLAY GAMES

When I am on a campaign.

I master multiple role-playing campaigns, and two old ones occured in the Warhammer Battle universe. During those, I created a good number of original scenarios, one of the most developped being "Les Rouages du Temps" ("Gears of Time").

This scenario served as an introduction to a recurring secret organisation in one of the two campaigns, the Glyph Society. This adventure showed the means and the possibility this organisation had at its disposition, while using some creatures from the Warhammer world, the Skavens.

I also organised role-play games on forums. One of them was inspired by the game Mush, on the Twinoïd plateform, and led on this game's forums.

"The Liaron Expedition" staged the return of a spaceship, the Aquilon, toward its origin planet after the exploration of an unknown planet, Liaron, in the Vyns galaxy. The Aquilon bring with him miscellaneous artifacts and living creatures, intriguing a lot the ship's scientists. Unfortunately, most of the elements obtained are dangerous, and their presence on board threatens the ship's survival. The crew, of which the players belong, must then cope with the succession of disasters  ensuing.

This short adventure was supposed to be fast and dynamic, needed for the role-play on forum. The players were able to chose their character among those availables, and once their role chosen, they received some personals informations which could help them in their struggling to survive. Finally, given their efficacity in managing the crisis, the end result could vary a lot, impacting the saving of the ship, the crew, and/or the expedition's discoveries

I took part in the contest "Three Times Forged", which involved creating a role-play game with three autors, each participant receiving the last author's submission. It was then needed to expand it and in the end produce a role-play game "Three Times Forged", while respecting his predecessors' constraints.

For me, the end result was "Prisma", a game based on the battles in the modern world between dangerous entities and the protectors using elementals powers. The principle was to exploit the elementals weaknesses of each creature, and to use differents technics which efficacity depended on the situation. The game's system was relatively simple, relying only on d100 to resolve all the actions.
